Project title: Increasing the competitiveness of the NDK company by introducing a management system

Brief description of the project: The NDK d.o.o. company is implementing a project entitled "Increasing the competitiveness of the NDK company by introducing a management system". Funds for the project were approved under the Call "Introduction of business process and quality management system (ISO and similar standards)", under the Call: KK.03.2.1.14 - version 2, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund. As part of the project, the company invests in the introduction of a system related to the requirements for welding quality according to the ISO 3834-3 standard.

Objectives and expected results of the project: The result of the project is the issuance of a certificate covering the introduction of the HRN EN ISO 3834-3 standard, which relates to quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials and was prepared to establish controls and procedures during the welding process. Thanks to the introduced certificate and the application of the standard, the company achieves a higher quality of welded joints, and thus the quality of structures, because welding is one of the most common ways of joining steel structural elements into an inseparable whole. With the introduced certificate, the company will also increase its competitiveness in the market, and thus improve its business, which will enable an increase in business volume and expansion of business activities in the domestic and foreign markets..

Total value of the project and the amount co-financed by the EU:

Total project value: HRK 209.274,26 HRK

Eligible costs: 159.919,41 HRK

EU co-financing amount: 135.931,49 HRK

Project implementation period: June 1, 2020 - June 1, 2021
